J Bert – Pursuing His Passion for Music Through His Iconic Record Label

People of the 21st century are so dependent on music that they can’t spend a day without listening to their favorite genres. Considering the demand for good music in the market, the obsession with generating fantastic music is getting to people’s heads. They are emerging with new songs that surprise music enthusiasts each day.

Early Life & Achievements

Amon Derrick Kissi Jr, who was born on April 22, 1998, is one such person who has been producing good music for a long time now. He is better known by his stage name, J Bert. His childhood was spent in Dallas, Texas, in the United States of America, but when he was six, he had to relocate to France due to his parent’s divorce. This was just one of several difficulties he faced during his life, but he didn’t let anything come in the way of his personal development or musical career.

J Bert recognized that he particularly liked music as it let him forget his troubles and would carry him into this new domain of creativity. He became interested in hip-hop after listening to performers such as Sexion d’Assaut, Jay-Z, 2Pac, Notorious B.I.G., and 50 Cent. After a while, he noticed a shift in his musical tastes and began to like Drake and Future. Later, he decided he could produce good music independently and was no less than his favorite music artist. That was when J Bert started recording for his first studio album.

On October 3, 2018, J Bert released his first studio album, “The Kairos.” He co-produced one of the tracks, “Stump It,” with an emerging musician Detty K and included it in his second album, Vision, published on February 7, 2019. The week following the release of Vision was the pinnacle of J Bert’s career. It didn’t take long for the song to become popular, and it was heard worldwide. J Bert confirmed the release of his third studio album, “Eighty-Eight,” on December 28, 2020. The audience responded enthusiastically to this one as well.

Establishment of the Bert Music

Apart from producing music, another venture of J Bert was to establish “Bert Music,” a record label company founded to serve as a resource for aspiring young musicians working in the entertainment industry who lacked the information required to advance in their music careers. In some of the interviews, J Bert was seen talking about the mission of his record company; he said, “I am well aware of the struggles that the young musicians have to face to excel in their careers. The fundamental aim of the Bert Music record label is to help the young musicians by providing them with a platform which they can use to share their music with the rest of the world.”

J. Bert will also release his album “What’s Next” through Bert Music on October 15, 2021. It quickly gained popularity among music fans upon its initial release.
